The ability to express and contain emotions safely is essential to all healthy relationships. Sometimes it’s difficult to manage big feelings, especially when your child has them too. I support you in deepening your ability to tolerate hard or painful feelings, gain deeper body awareness, and sometimes process past experiences.
Self reflection is an important component to any learning. I work with you to strengthen your ability to observe your child’s behavior and reflect on their need in the moment. Together we will explore how your own experiences can shape the way the way you see your child’s behavior.
When you believe that people are doing the best they can with what they have, it becomes easy to have empathy. That includes you! I work to support you in not only building empathy for your child and their needs, but also building empathy and self compassion for you.
